Since its inception in 1994, Fun Science-Ciencia Divertida has offered an innovative approach in the entertainment and teaching of science to children 14 and under.
The Fun Science teaching system employs various educational techniques, notably the TPR (Total Physical Response) Method, SDAIE (Specifically Designed Academic Instruction in English) and the PQS (Plonsky Question System), all of which are structured on Vygotsky´s theory of psychology.
Our programs
foster children's
motivation,
self-esteem
and integration,
and help them
to better
understand
the world
of science.
Furthermore,
the programs
give them
early exposure
to scientific
concepts that
may prove
valuable further
down the road;
Fun
Science, as
the number
one business
in its activity
sector in
Europe,
complements
the education
that our future
engineers,
architects
and scientists
require, bringing
the world
of science
closer to
children in
a way that
is altogether
original.
It's
a new and
innovative
concept:
|
|
 |
|
 |
 |
The experiments
are fun and
entertaining;
children discover
that what
appears to
be magic is
actually based
on scientific
principle,
so that even
while playing
and having
fun, they
gain fundamental
knowledge
about various
scientific
disciplines. |
 |
 |
Fun Science
is geared
towards children
aged 4 to
14. |
 |
 |
Our teaching method encompasses activities in which more than 6,000,000 European and American children – among them students from over 5,000 elementary schools – have already participated. |
 |
 |
The professionals who form Fun Science – monitors, educators and scientists – work towards the same objective: the ultimate satisfaction of children, parents and clients. |
